The Santa Rosa County Master Gardeners will host their annual plant sale at a new location at the UF/IFAS Extension Office located at 6263 Dogwood Drive in Milton on Friday and Saturday, April 10 and 11 from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. Dress up your landscape with many varieties of annuals, perennials, shrubs and trees. Heirloom and unusual varieties of herbs and tomatoes will be available.
In conjunction with the sale, the Florida Federation of Garden Clubs will host a Small Standard Flower Show in the auditorium. All are welcome to submit entries on Thursday April 9 from 9 to 11 a.m. Guidelines for entries can be found here.
“The Doctor is In” booth staff will answer your gardening and landscape questions. Expert advice from the Commercial Horticulture Agent on growing tomatoes is available on Friday the 10th from 10 a.m. until noon and 1 p.m. until 4 p.m., and on Saturday the 11th from 8 a.m. until noon. Enjoy educational displays on agriculture, marine science and home canning. Stay for lunch or a snack offered by 4-H youth.
Overflow parking is available at the U.S. Army Reserve Center on Dogwood Drive just south of the Extension Office.
