Antique rose seminar

A free educational series called “Mondays in the Gardens” will be held in the shade garden class room located next to the UF gardens parking lot behind Pensacola State College, Milton Campus.  On March 5th at 10:00 a.m. a program entitled “Antique Roses – Their History and Care” will be offered.

The University of Florida’s Milton Gardens is located behind the Pensacola State College, Milton Campus. Follow the signs, “Gardens,” through the parking lot.

After the program there will be a hands-on demonstration on pruning antique roses. The program and proper rose pruning will be presented by Sally Menk, a Santa Rosa Co. Master Gardener for 24 years and a Consulting Rosarian for the American Rose Society.
