Community Service

Community service is very important to the 4-H program.  4-H members learn life skills by doing many different community service activities in their comminuty, district, and state.

Be sure to keep up with your community service! You can download our community service form to make record keeping easier.

Community Service Recognition

  • 4-H participants and volunteers may turn in their community service logs to the 4-H office to receive recognition through the President's Volunteer Service Award. This program recognizes youth and adults who volunteer in the community.   4-Hers and 4-H volunteers will be presented their certificate and pin at the annual 4-H County Awards Night. Please contact Vickie or Lauren if you have any questions regarding this program.
  • The Congressional Award Program concentrates on the areas of community service, personal development, physical fitness, and expedition/exploration.  Participants can register for the program at 13 & 1/2 and can receive their first award at the age of 14. Program participants have from age 14-24 to complete the program.  There is a $10.00 registration fee. If you have any questions regarding this program, please contact Vickie or Lauren.
